Pain In Neck And Shoulders, Red And Swollen, Got Hit On Head. Anything To Worry?

My husband got hit on the top of his head at work by a high hoe.
He has intense pain on his neck and shoulders even though that's not where he got hit. It is swollen and red and he wants to sleep and won't take tylonel. Doesn't like going to the hospital etc should I be worried? He does not have a headache or dizziness .. Just extreme pain..

HI
Thank for choosing HCM
Pain can be managed but other consequences of head and neck injuries has to be taken in to consideration, keep a close watch on him particularly on his sensorium(Alertness, Active state ) second is fracture part it should be rule out too, if these two things ruled out then no need to worry, take care of your husband, have good day.
