Pain In Pelvic Bone, Breast Pain, Pain Under Arms, Hot Flashes, Desire For Sweets. Any Clue?
For years I've been having extremely heavy periods that can last up to 6 months with little to no break in between. One time I even started hemorrhaging and clotting terribly for two days but I was too scared to see a doctor. My last bout of heavy menstruation has just ended after 6 months. Now I notice I have pain in my pelvice bone, pain in my breasts and under my arms, horrible desires for sweets and hot flashes. I feel like I'm going crazy! It can't be pregnancy because I haven't had sex (who could with all those periods and all that pain for years). I explain it like PMS times 25. I can see a doctor about this but I'm terrified. I'm almost 40 so I don't know if this is early menopause, perimenopause or true PMS. Any clue would help as to any possible causes.
you didn't mention about your periods of late.you should have consulted a doctor immeadiately when u had heavy flow.you may have thyroid abnormality or a clotting disorder or may have had problems in uterus like fibrod uteri.you need a pelvic ultrasound and if required an endometrial biopsy.your symptoms are like perimenopausal status ,I feel you should get investigated immeadiately.
