Pain In Right Side Of Chest Below The Upper Rib When Pressed. Reason?

when I press on my right side ( 1 inch away from mid of the center of ribs) on the chest,3 inch below the upper rib with my palm then I feel pain, what would be the reason? pls. answer as soon as possible.

DEAR SIR, THE LOCATION FOR PAIN AS YOU HAVE MENTIONED IS THE PREFERED SITE FOR COSTOCONDRITIS( AN AFFECTION OF INFLAMED COSTOCONDRAL/RIB JOINT).
COULD BE BECAUSE OF ANY BLUNT TRAUMA EXPERIENCED EVEN UNNOTICEABLE, SOMETIMES A CAR SEAT BELT PRESSURE DURING SUDDEN CAR BRAKING MAY CAUSE SUCH AN AFFECTION LEADING TO PAIN ON THE RIGHT SIDE.
SIMPLE PAIN KILLERS/ANTI INFLAMATORY DRUGS FOR A WEEK OR SO WOULD BE SUFFICIENT.
