Pain In Shoulder And The Arm Was Immobilized For Few Seconds. What Could Be Wrong?
hi doctor. I attend a Pentecostal church. on sunday the spirit hit me and I jumped up to dance and I was raising my arm at the same time. and when I thrust up my arm flew back and I felt a pain in my shoulder. it was immobilized fro the about 10 seconds, then I got this tingly warm feeling and I could start back using it. it was still very very sore however. Monday morning I got up, could barely move it so I just began to exercise it and I felt a pop. every since then It has been sore. now I can put my hand right above my collar bone and as I move my arm forward to backward in motion, I can feel something popping. I am going to the e.r. soon. I just want more than one opinion. I know its not dislocation. I just cant fathom what could be wrong?
Many of patients present with such complaints, they have inherent weakness in the shoulder joint and that predisposes to subluxation of.joint duringextreme movement. SuSuggest e to see your orthopedic surgeon who would be able to diagdiagnose with x-ray
