Pain In Shoulder, Warm Feeling. Taking Medication, Pain Reduced, Reoccurring. Any Ideas?

A few months ago I had pain in the right shoulder I went to an orthopedic doctor and he took xray and couldnt find anything he said to take aleeve twice a day the pain went away on its own six weeks ago I started Fosamax because I have Osteoporosis then I noticed the pain started to return gradually Now it really hurts and I stopped the Fosamax two weeks ago I am currently smoking My shoulder feels warm and it hurts all the time

Hi,
The pain &warmth in shoulder,can be due to cervical/spondilosis.
you need xray cervical spine P/A & lateral views to see if it's so.you can visit orthopedist &ask about further manegment
Regular exercizes of shoulder&cervical spine would be helpful (Physiotherapist)
Supplimentation with-vit B12,Calcium,Vit. D, can be taken apart from pain killers (If needed)
