Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
Pain in sternum seems to be due to chostochondritis. Give rest to the part. Avoid overhead activities.Apply local anti-inflammatory gel 2-3 times a day.
Take anti-inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen to reduce pain and local swelling or inflammation.Drink plenty of fluids/water and eat leafy vegetables/fresh fruits . Take diet rich in calcium and vit D3.
Hope this helps you.
Regards.
Hi, It seems that you might be having degenerative osteoartheritis changes in your joints giving rise to this problem. There might be having osteoporosis of bones as well. Go for light exercise like slow walking, swimming daily. Go for physiotherapy of all the joints to keep joints movable. Take calcium, vitamin A and D supplements. Ok and take care.
