Pain In The Chest, Tingling In The Fingers. Could This Be A Muscular Inflammation?
I had a sharp pain in my lower left chest abit towards the middle 2 days ago. Prior to that I started to get a tingly feeling in my arm for a few days also in my fingers. When I got a sharp chest pain 2 days ago I was really scared. I went hospital they did i think an ECG, took blood samples and did a x-ray. $ hours later they told me I was fine heart rate and blood is all fine everythings normal. After that I felt better and the pain dissapered, now 2 days later im not to sure but iv felt the sharp pain in my upper left arm for a slight second, then on my right side chest jst a little spot, then like 20 mins later i felt the sharp pain where i originally felt it the bottom left chest abit uptowards the middle. I asked the doctor for the causes and he said it cold be a combination of things, anxiety, muscle spasm or inflammation ... Now I do train and I have increased in my press ups from roughly 30 a day to about 60 to 70 throgh out the day. <I dont know if that makes a diffrence but i went and broght a creme called 'Voltarol pain-eze' because i want to see if it is muscle inflammation. Today I only started getting the pain on lower left after i put the creme over my top chest and on a bruise on my rib.. What could this possibly be?? i am really worried
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The pain that you have in the chest 9s not likely to be related to a cardiac cause. It is more likely to be a muscular pain or due to chest infections. In case the pain persists after 2 weeks then detailed tests are required. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal drtayal72@gmail.com
