Pain In The Ovaries While Holding Up Urine. Can I Take Pain Medication?

about 2 weeks beformy period I get extreme gas, not painful, and also I experience a lot of pain when I hold my urine , the pain is located around my ovaries, I still continue with the gas but after I get the pain the gas pains are horrible, they take about 2 days to.finally go away with the assistance of pain meds, what is wrong with me?

hi,
If you hold the urine then bladder will distend which cause pain in lower abdomen. You are getting pain 2 weeks before your period which coinsides with the release of ovum which can cause pain in few women. It is called mittelschmerz. Excessive gas can also cause pain in lower abdomen because of distended bowel. You can take simple analgesics. consult your gynaecologist.
