39 y/o male with good overall health. Had sudden pain in my upper chest area concentrating around where the pecs meet the chest plate. The pain went away but i was sore for several hours afterwards. Now, a day later, I have soreness deep in the armpit/upper back - like a band around the same area.
I was thinking that it was muscle soreness, but I have done absolutely nothing lately that would cause the soreness. I had gotten up from my desk and walked into the kitchen when the pain hit.
Hi, It seems that you might be having some cardiac ailment giving rise to this type of chest pain. Go for EKG to rule out cardiac insufficiency or angina. There is possibility of having gastritis or hyperacidity. Consult physician and get examined. Ok and take care.
