Pain On Inside Ball Of Foot, Swollen, Red. Carried Heavy Weight. Remedy?

Hi Dr. Grief, I am experiencing a lot of pain on inside ball of my foot right under my big toe. It only started hurting a couple days ago and now I can't walk on it because of the pain. I was carrying an excess amount of weight that day and am wondering if I may have injured it as a result. It's swollen and red in that area and I feel heat coming off the skin. Could you tell me what the diagnosis might be? Thank you!

Welcome to HCM
It seems to be localized plantar fasciatis. Rest, hot water fomentation and analgesic like diclofenac sodium will definitely help you. See a Surgeon if it does not subside even after taking 2days of medication who would be interested in ruling out diabetes and pus formation.
Take care
Wishing you a speedy recovery
