Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. The pain you describe is probably a typical presentation of Acid gasritis. You can take immediate antacid measures like TUMS, Gelusil or Digene in the form of syrup or tablets. You may also need to take Antispasmodic medication too alleviate the pain. Even after trying above ,one could get suspicious of pancreas involvement. I will suggest you to get ultrasonography abdomen to see the condition of pancreas, liver and ducts because all of these structures are related to each other, consultation with Gastroenterologist will be very helpful. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care Warm Regards
