Painful Abdomen, Below Chest, Itching, Tiredness. Is This Normal?
Hi sir, I am having a dull pain on the upper central abdomen just below the chest. Its been 2 weeks . I feel sort of pain and itchiness when i press with my finger on it. When i go for work i feel really tired ,i dont feel like working at all.What could be the reasons?do i have to check with doctor and have some sort of test or its normal,
Hi, Thanks for posting your query. Do you have fever/ cough with sputum/ respiratory distress? Do you have acidic belching/ abdominal discomfort/ nausea or vomiting/ diarrhea and constipation? What are the aggravating or relieving factor of pain? You should consult with internal medicine specialist/ gastroenterologist and should go for thorough check up. You should go for complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, ultrasound imaging, blood sugar, thyroid profile, and serum electrolytes, serum amylase, renal function test. You should also go for endoscopy and urea breathe test for H. Pylori. You should take proton pump inhibitors along with prokinetics. Take soft diet along with yogurt and banana.
