Painful Knees, Pins And Needles In Left Foot. Displaced Knee Cap On Left Leg. Anything To Worry?
My daughter (18 and overweight) suffers from painful knees and has a displaced knee cap on left side. We have just returned from long journey in car (approx 18 hours with several 20 minute breaks) and her knees are now very stiff. This was to be expected but for the last three hours she has also had pins and needles in left foot. No sign of swelling, redness or heat. Do I need to worry.
Welcome to HCM. Don't worry,Most likely it could be due to long time improper position in long journey. Give him nsaid with muscle relaxant to subside pain and stiffness. You can apply any nsaid gel locally. You can do warm water application. You have to make her active and try to loose some weight gradually. Physiotherapy will be helpful. Start exercise, yoga and proper diet plan after getting cure. Consult orthopedician for proper medical management.
