Hi. Acne is a chronic problem and just one week of medicine you cant expect complete cure. Yes you should restart medicines. Take Azithromycin 500mg once daily for 3 consequtive days/week for 4-12 weeks. Take Isotretnoin 20mg (under dermatologist supervision as it requires few blood tests and also tests for pregnancy is a must in females of reproductive age because it is teratogenic; so one should not get pregnant while on isotretinoin) once daily after dinner. Apply clindamycin during day and Adapalene clindamycin combination gel at night. Use a mild cleanser like cetaphil. Follow up with your dermatologist every 2-3 weeks. Once your acne is under control he/she might take you off azithromycin and/or isotretinoin and continue on topical medicines only.
