Hi thanks for your question.
There are many causes of painful sexual intercourse (
dyspareunia). The commonest being, if there is not enough foreplay before the sex and vagina is dry.
The 2nd common cause is, if you’re tense during the sexual act and you’re not comfortable with your partner.
There are few more possibilities of painful sexual intercourse .Thses include:
Infection of uterus or cervix
Yeast infection of the vagina
Diseases of uterus and fallopian tubes.
Urinary tract infections
When no other cause of dyspareunis is found, there is condition called as
vaginismus, which is characterized by involuntary tightness of vagina due to
pubococcygeus muscle.
This condition require, combined approach of
psychiatrist and your gynecologist
10 ml urine in bladder is normal, and has nothing to do with painful intercourse.
However adhesion secondary to emergency can be a cause of dyspareunia
I would suggest you to, relax during the sexual act,
Get yourself investigated on the above mentioned causes by a gynaecologist, though you have already taken some tests, which are normal.
Hope this answers your question.
