Painful, Tender, Black Eye, Feeling Of Light Film Over Eyeball, Continued Headache. Serious?
yesterday I thought I was getting a stye as my eyelid felt very tender then this morning I woke up my eye was hurting pretty bad I looked in the mirror and my eye looks like I was hit in the face and got a black eye. It's very tender and painful and feels almost like there's a light film over my eyeball I've looked and see nothing obvious such as a stye or anything that could be causing this. I've had a headache all day as well. I don't have insurance so can't go to a doctor but am afraid this might be serious

It seems from the history you have provided you might be having inflammation of the skin around the eye ball most probably preseptal cellulitis.
Preseptal cellulitis will respond to oral antibiotics and oral antiinflammatory drugs, but if becomes severe it requires treatment under supervision of eye doctor with injections.
Hence I advice you to consult eye doctor if the infection is not responding to treatment.
