Panic Attacks, Feelings Of Dread After Taking Cymbalta 120 Mg. History Of Nervous Breakdown After Taking Zoloft. Help
I had been taking Zoloft for 2 years but in March this year I had a nervous breakdown and ended up in hospital for 2 weeks. During this time I was taken of Zoloft and put onto 120mg Cymbalta, but instead of feeling better I feel so much worse. The panic attacks and feelings of dread never seem to stop. Im finding living like this is unbearable.
Hello.Your panic attacks are not related with taking sertraline and duloxetine. Your panic attacks are related to your anxiety-depressive disorder. Sertraline and Duloxetine are effective drugs to treat panic attacks but in your case it is not enough.Besides continue taking duloxetine, I think it is necessary to associate a anxiolytic to prevent your panic attacks.Alprazolam 0.5 mg thrice a day is widely used in the prevention and treatment of panic attacks. Please consult your local doctor for a prescription. I understand your situation but do not must feel discouraged, I think that with referred treatment you will feel better. I wish you good health.
