Paracardiac Pneumonitis, Dry Cough At Night, Itchiness. Medication To Control Cough?

hi! i really need a help i have left paracardiac pneumonitis and i am treating this already but my problem is my dry cough keeps on coming especially every night, it is very itchy.. and sometimes it comes on day when i perspire , i have hard time to control my itchy cough... what kind of medicine can i take to control this?

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. You had para cardiac pneumonitis, and had treatment for that. Now you are getting dry cough with itching in the throat. It is most probably a throat infection with uvulitis. I advise you to consult an ENT surgeon, for diagnosis and treatment. you may need to get culture and sensitivity of the throat swab for confermmation of the infecting organism and its sensitivity to antibiotics.
I advise you to gargle with salt water twice a day for control of inflammation of throat, and uvula besides treatment, to have an early relief of symptoms.
Besides i advise you to follow some diet recommendations as Avoid taking ice water, ice cream, cool drinks, fruits, juices, brenjal, fish, and other sea foods, to avoid allergy and super infection.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, milk,egg, meat, chicken, and dry fruits. These will improve blood, general health, resistance to such infections, and stamina . Wishing for a quick recovery and thanks for calling.
