Passed Blood Clots After Positive Pregnancy Test. Taken Medicine For Threadworms. Effect On Fetus?
Hello. my daughter did a pregnancy test back at the end of august, it was positive but on the 2nd of september she passed two large clots. She went and had a scan and was told she miscarried. so when in mid october our youngest boy (7yrs) had a suffered with threadworms, I made sure that the whole family was treated. Last week after my daughter said she still hadn't come on i sent her to get checked out. Only to be informed they made a mistake and she is still pregnant!! Tonight i remembered about the OVEX and am really worried....

About Ovex tablets the safety for use during pregnancy has not been established using clinical trials. Hence not recommended to be taken by pregnant. If taken in 2nd trimester there wont be much harm but in 1st trimester the chance of affecting baby may be there (but no evidence). The 18-20th week scan will rule out if any anomaly.
Hope this helps you.
Regards

Hi, You should confirm the diagnosis of pregnancy using USG and also blood HCG level as the earlier bleeding may be threatened abortion or incomplete abortion.
