Pelvic Ultrasound Showing Heterogeneous Endometrium With Cystic Changes, Bilateral Complex Cysts In The Ovary. Explain?

I had a pelvic ultrasound and results showed heterogeneous endometrium with fluid vs cystic changes. Also showed toward fundal part of endometrium - had echogenic foci. No fibroids noted. Additionally, on my ovaries. Bilateral complex cysts/follicles. One on left (where my pain has been) is echogenic. Blood flow in both ovaries. What does this all mean? I recently was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Have been havig breakthrough bleeding. And pain in my left side - more than just "ovulation pain".

Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your problem. The USG findings are slightly suspicious and it is advisable that you consult a gnynecologist and have a thorough clinical examination, which would reveal if something is really out of place.
Also considering your history of thyroid cancer, it is better to have thyroid scan to see whether the cancer was restricted to the thyroid or has spread to other organs or not.
