Periodic Feeling Of Flutters Under Rib Cage, Sharp Pains On Deep Breathing, Yawning. Causes?

Starting about 4 weeks ago, periodially I would feel little flutters under my left rib cage, which has now progressed to sharp pains when I breathe deeply or yawn. I do not engage in physical activity. I did not bump into anything that would cause a bruise . I cannot afford a doctor or hospital not to mention the x-rays and lab. What are the possible causes? Thanks

Hi ,
Thanks for your query.
Pain in chest which increases on typical maneuvers like deep inhalation, coughing, sneezing, laughing etc is suggestive of pleuritis which is inflammation of the pleura which is covering of the lung usually caused due to some infection.
If you cannot afford a doctor or can't go for chest xray....may try a course of empirical antibiotic like azithromycin...If This doesn't help , better will be to go for chest xray nad meet your doctor...

Best wishes
