Periods For Ten Days With Brown Discharge. Suggested T Xamic MF. Bleeding Stopped And Regained. Is This Normal?

hi my name is priya i am 30 years old recently i had periods which continued for 10 days with some brown coloured discharge and had been to a doctor for checkup she gave me T xamic MF n said to take for 3 days.while taking it my bleeding had stopped after 2 days bleeding has started again is it normal or i have to consult once again.

Hi Priya,

It is better to go and check with your gynecologist why you are experiencing prolonged periods.

With regards to brown discharge, once your periods are over, I'd suggest to perform vaginal swab testing together with transvaginal ultrasound to evaluate any possible infection.
