Periods, Had Bleeding For 2 Hours, After 1 Week, Getting Orangish Pink Discharge, Light Cramping. Suggestion?

I just had my period which was a day early (10/11/12) and lasted about 2 hours, stopped for about 12hrs, then resumed on the scheduled day it was to arrive (10/12/13) but was lighter than usual. My period stopped on 10/15/13 but today I found that I am having sum orangish pinkish discharge and light cramping. Do you have any suggestions as to the cause of all this?

Hi,

When a patient with similar complaints comes to my clinic, my first step is to perform a gynec examination. This is because most of the causes for such complaints like cervical erosion [an infection of the cervix] or polyp [small growth on the cervix] can be seen only after examination.
The next step is an ultrasonography for uterine causes like endometrial polyps and TO masses [nfections of the tubes].
If these are negative than a hormonal evaluation like TSH, FSH, LH and estradiol must be done.

Thanks for the query and dont worry.
