my 14 year old daughter was had a bad hit to her head while playing hockey lst friday. she felt sick to her stomach for 1/2 hour no blurred vision did not finish the game and we have kept her off the ice for a week she iss still experiencing headaches . not sure is this is due to a concussion or it is just a symptom of bug going round she did not go to hospital yet Same thing happened last year in march
Hi,
The headaches can be a result of the concussion injury to the brain that can result in haemotoma formation.
You should have proper investigation that probably is CT scan of the Brain with contrast that can show any abnormality such as Blood clot within or out of the Brain.
Also have proper medication for the headaches such as Tab. Synflex 550 mg twice daily for 03 to 05 days.
This will surely treat your symptoms of headache.
I hope I am successful in solving your query If you have more you can ask me.
Take care and have good rest.
Regards,
Dr. Azhar Sattar
