Pierced My Ears. Pus Around The Hole With Pain. Is It Normal?

Hi, i recently pierced my ears, about 2 or 3 weeks ago, and then i started stretching them yesterday, i started with a 14 gauge, and it hurt putting it in and for an hour after, and still hurts when i touch them. Ito ok them out to clean them and there was a really small amount of puss just around the hole, i put them back in after cleaning and putting hydroperoxide on them and the taper, and they feel fine. Is a little bit of puss bad or normal? Thanks

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding pus discharge along with pain in your ear lobule after two weeks of ear piercing.

No doubt your hole had got infected, you are advice for-

1- Antibiotic ( broad spectrum).

2- Analgesic.

3- Antiseptic ointment locally.

I hope this will help you.

Regards.
