Pigmentation In Face After Facial. Should I Get Peeling Or Laser Treatment Done?
Hi, I am 25 yrs old. I have found my face went darker after a facial and after consulting few doctors they suggested it is due to melasma or pigmentation. I am applying prescribed medicated creams from last 2 yrs but it is not very effective, But yes to some extent which is in earlier days of applying it has shown an effective result. Few have suggested me to go for either peeling or laser . Could you please help me out in this.
hi...
see melasma or pigmentation usually happens because of harmones, such as during pregnancy, or because of oral contraceptive pills or because of thyroid...the greatest enemy for melasma is ultra violet rays...so u have to protect urself from uv rays coming from sun and at the same time from the uv rays coming from laptops, computer, tubelights,etc...so u need to put a good sunscreen atleast 3 to 4 times a day whether u r indoor or outdoor...chemical peeling is a very good option specially tca peels but u ll have to maintain the results doing basic skin care...uv protection is mandatory life long...have plenty of vit c and vit e rich fruits, plenty of water...
dont worry
