Pimple In Corner On Lip, Cut In Center. Any Ideas?

Hi I have what I thought was a pimple in the corner of my lip on the bottom side of the corner. I popped it with a needle and nothing came out an I squeezed it and scratched at it a little bit an it became fairly red. Past two days it has been a scab that I can't see but can feel and today I noticed there is a tiny cut in the center of it. It's not itchy or painful but feels like it does when I used to get those dry cuts in the corners of my mouth as a child. What could this be?

Hi,
After reading your history it appears that you might have developed secondary infection over the boil. These areas are very prone for getting secondary infection. I advise you to not pinch or pop the area. You can apply an antibiotic cream such as gentamycin cream. Antibiotic tablet s are must such as ciprofloxacin or cefadroxil under medical advise. If itching is present then can take benadryl accordingly. Consult family physician at the earliest for checking the exact cause.
