Pimple On Scrotum Popped Causing Heavy Oozing, Yellow Scab With Tiny Deep Hole On Scraping. Cause?

My husband had a pimple in his bag and the first time we popped it a lot of pus came out. The next day we popped it again and more came out, the next few days it was really red and I would squeeze it out alcohol on it and some antibiotic ointment. Last night I scraped a yellow looking scab off of it and underneath was a tiny but deep hole. Why does that happen?

Hello
Thanks for your query. Base don the facts you have stated it appears that your husband has a infected Sebaceous cyst on the scrotum The scrotal skin has more sebaceous glands compared to skin on rest of the body and hence more prone to get sebaceous cyst .Though you have drained out all the pus there are chances of recurrence as the sac is still there So consult some surgeon who will excise the cyst and sac in Toto so that it will not recur again. Please take some antibiotics after consulting your family Physician.
