Pimples Between Vagina And Anus Opening, Not Hurting. What Could This Be?
I noticed a soft pimple like thing between the vagina and anal opening. It has been about a month no change, doesnt hurt and it is not under the skin . What could this be?
Bacterial infection in vaginal area is the fundamental cause of vaginal pimples. As moist and sweaty area is most favorable for bacteria to grow their colonies, hair follicles get infected and damaged. Infected hair follicles are clogged with bacteria, white blood cells and pus. Moisture helps in increasing the rate of growth of bacteria that accumulate around the vaginal region. Lack of cleansing may result in vaginal pimples. Thus, keep the area clean, dry and do not use harsh soaps or detergents in that area. Wear loose cotton panties only. Other fabrics do not soak the sweat produced in that area and hence aid in pimple formation. Vaginal pimples are often initially treated by soaking with hot water. Many women pop up the pimples. This is wrong and may cause deep skin infection due to infected zit. If they are asymptomatic and not disturbing you then its better to neglect, if not please consult a gynecologist for proper diagnosis and treatment.
