Polio Affected Left Leg Fractured In Accident, Muscles Jammed Now, Totally Slanting To Left Side. Any Chances Of Recovery ?
Doctor..Now i am 30yrs. I was affected by polio on my left leg when i was 6months old. it is only 20% no one could find the difference with i walk slowly it was fine and my 25years passed major impact is i met with an acident on 2007 same leg knee got factured we didnt go for surgery we did puthur treatment just aligning and tighing it for few months now my muscles all got jamed and i could not fold my leg now. Started to limb a lot totally slanting to left side is there any chances to recover atleast like before..pls suggest
Hi, From your history it seems that your muscles become stiff leading to restriction of movements. Fracture at knee also might be a problem as well. Consult orthopedic surgeon and get physically examined. Plan for treatment can be decided accordingly. If there is no much problem at knee joint, regular physiotherapy will give you much improvement.
