Popping Sound In The Wrist Causing Pain And Swelling. Numbness On The Fingers. Fracture?

A couple of weeks ago I was pushing myself up onto our bed which is a high canopy bed and I heard a loud pop in my right wrist ever since it has been hurting and swelling and makes a loud crackling noise with intense pain when I turn my wrist side to side. When I wake in the morning it is swollen and has now started to become numb in all my fingers. The pain will even shoot up to my elbow. When I try to write or hold things it hurts. Just wonder if it could be broken?

Typically with a break there is lots of bruising, but not always. It could be broken and should be x-rayed. Bones in the wrist are susceptible to osteonecrosis (bone death) if there is a break and the blood supply to the bone is compromised. It is treatable if caught early. The numbness is likely the swelling putting pressure on the nerve.
