I will give you a brief idea of what all this is about, its slightly long but do read it !! Most commonly since you went to a orthopaedic surgeon, you seem to be suffering from back pain/ joint pains/ early morning stiffness which wanes off with activity. These are symptoms of Ankylosing spondylitis, a disease of spine, more common in males of young age have low back pain, back stiffness, cant bend forward, have morning stiffness, might have a brother with similar complains This disease is of-course not completely curable, BUT, there are so many new medicines available which bring this disease under complete remission and prevent it from coming back. Dont lose hope, Consult a rheumatologist, who can start the appropriate medicine and give you a symptom free life. Other diseases which fall under this group Seronegative Spondyloarthropathy also have HLA b27 positive but they have different signs and symptoms.
