Possibility Of Taking A Shot In Eye. Painful?

I was told that I might have to have shot in my eye. From what I want to know how pain will I have from this? Can a doctor give you pain med before this, or can they give you meds that will make you sleep? I don't deal with pain real good. I was told they can put eye in your eye so you want feel it. Have any one know if a person can still fill pain after they put drops in the eye

Radiologist 's  Response
Hello,
I am sure they will put few drops of local anaesthetic solution on your eye before giving the dhot. It is generally lignocaine 2% solution and works well.
You may feel something like a pinch and that's all.

Hope this helps.
