Possible Yeast Infection On Penis, Candidiasis. Applied Candid Cream On Foreskin. How Can I Get Rid Of It?
Hello Doctor,
I suspect that I have yeast infection on my penis (candidiasis).
Can you please advise how I can get rid of it.
Is it advisable to apply candid b cream under the foreskin where the white and red pathces are. I'm a bit worried to visit my regular doctor. I hope its not herpes.
Please let me know what I can do to get rid of this yeast infection
Hello. If you have white and red patches on foreskin, candidiasis is a likely diagnosis. It dont seems that you have genital herpes because causes vesicular lesions on the penis that even progress to ulcers.
.I treat my patients with Clotrimazole cream applied twice a day when penis candidiasis is the diagnosis. If patches not improve with the cream,is recommended add by mouth Fluconazole 100 mg per day ,7 days.
Please consult your local doctor for confirm the diagnosis and for prescription.
I wish you good health.
