Pragnant. Ultrasound Showed Amniotic Fluid At Boderline Reduced. Taking Argipreg Powder And Astymin Tablets. Effective? Side Effects?
Hello. I am 35weeks pregnant. During an ultrasound it was shown that my amniotic fluid level is " boderline reduced". Should I be worried about the AFL at this stage. A friend of mine suggested taking argipreg powder. However I am already taking protinex powder twice a day with milk and astymin tablets. Does argipreg increase AFL and does it have any side effects?
Dear user, welcome to healthcare magic. There is no role for argipreg in increasing your amniotic fluid, also it has no adverse effects on you or your pregnancy. You do not have to worry at all from the reduced amniotic fluid as long as: - You have no history of leakage of watery vaginal discharge. - Your fetal movement is adequate (more than ten per twelve hours). - The amount of amniotic fluid ( Amniotic Fluid Index ) is more than 5. - umbilical artery Doppler is within normal ranges. I wish you good luck with you pregnancy. Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
