Pregnant. According To My Last Period What Should My Due Date Be?
my last period was sep. 15 which means my due date would be june 22. my doc is saying my due date is july 15. does that add up? i went to get a 3 sonogram to find out the sex and the doc told me that i was 19 weeks (at the time) when my pcp was saying i was 16 weeks. according to my pcp now says im 31 weeks when i believe im about 34 going on 35. basically my question is if my last period was sep 15 how can they say my due date is july 15?? wouldnt that mean that i got pregnant the same day i was suppose to get my period? is it even possible to get pregnant on the same day as ur period?

Hello welcome to health care magic Thanks for your query If the last period was sep. 15th that is LMP(last menstrual period),then your EDD(expected date of delivery) is 9 months + 7 days that is june 22nd or 23rd. These dates will be more accurate provided YOU HAVE NORMAL PERIODS AND REGULAR FLOW prior to the pregnancy..
The values and expected date given by the ultrasound report is more accurate than the above said standard method.. Because of irregular periods you have given July 15th as the expected date.. Just go according with that. Hope you got answer from me Thank you Dr.siddartha
