Pregnant. Big Boil On Bottom, Oozing White And Blood When Poked With Needle, Pain. Suggest
Hey I have a big boil on my bottom and it has gotten bad. I'm 34 weeks pregnant and I didn't wanna go to the doctor with this nasty thing so I sterilized everything and poked a needle in it and some white and a little blood came out bit the brown smelly stuff came out and it smelt like crap! I've had boils before but not like this. What do I need to do? I don't wanna go have it lanced cause it looks so painful and I'm afraid it won't heal before I go into labor.
the boil is called Sebacious cyst. Which has got infected so is painful and smelly. It has to be removed with surgery but prior to that the infection can be controlled with Antibiotics like Amoxicillin and others. I wish you good luck to get it controlled with antibiotics and later you can consult a surgeon/GP. Hope you find my advise useful.Any further quarries is welcome. Thanking you Dr Samir
