Pregnant. Painful Lump In Armpit, Cystic. Used Gauze To Cut Open Drain. What Is Wrong?

I am 20 weeks pregnant and went to the doctor for a very painful bump in my armpit, he said it was a cyst and to come back if it got worse. It goes way worse, so I went back and a lady doctor cut it open and drained it. About a week after, I started having terrible pain again and went back to the doctor, and he said she didn't put gauze in to keep the cut open to drain, and now it has spread. I now have 3 in my armpit and they are very painful. He have me medication and I have been taking that and it doesn't seem to help.. What should I do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM,thank you for your query.
It may be antibiotic that isnt effective for this type of infection so he should have taken swab and sent it to microbiologic analysis and then the right antibiotic can be used. Secondly,it may require surgical drainage again and you should avoid shaving this area till wounds heal completely.

Wish you good health. Regards.
