It may be requested to know if your high blood pressure has affected your heart performance. Being admitted in a hospital for high blood pressure is needed if the blood pressure is too high, uncontrollable, near delivery or if associated with complications. But usually not all pregnant women with high blood pressure should be admitted to hospital. High blood pressure may affect the weight of your baby making it smaller than it should be, but on the other hand these babies have nature lungs and are able to survive more than others.
