I am 16 weeks pregnant with my second child. I am suffering again from indentions from my socks and they last for hours afterwards. I had the same thing with my first pregnancy also had to be induced and had emergency CE section. Diabetes runs in my family very high. Can pregnancy trigger it to where I am insulin dependent

Socks markings and swelling of the legs are common with pregnancy but it does not mean that it was same like your first. Diabetes is more common in your case than in women without family history of diabetes, however checking the blood glucose levels is very important as it will clarify the condition especially if done at 28 weeks
