Pregnant, Leg Pain After Hitting, Wound Septic, Swelling. Taking Seranac-P, Megaclav. Any Side Effect On Fetus?

hello Sir,
my wife is pregnant (30 to 31 week), due to an acciden (light) of last week. on the leg something hit lower down to knee so wound has happend. in the wound septic & swevling also lot of pain
So i have take the doctor advise. They give her two medicine
1) Seranac-P -pain Killer
2) Megaclav @ 625
Is there any side effect on my baby ?

Hello,

Above medicines are quite safe in this stage of pregnancy (30-31 weeks). They do not cause any harmful effect on growing fetus. However, painkiller should be taken for short course only. Long term is not recommended.

Do regular dressing of the wound. Apply antibacterial ointment like bacitracin or neosporin for proper healing.
