Hello…
I learn that you are 12 weeks pregnant and are bothered by
severe nausea. Do not worry too much, as it is a common problem in
pregnancy, occurring in about 90% of women. Nausea and
vomiting during pregnancy, generally begin to appear between 4th and 9th week, peak in the 12th week and decrease by 16th week. But, about 20-30% of women continue to have these symptoms beyond the 20th week. It is also quite common to be irritated with the surroundings and people around you when you have severe nausea. The medications that you are prescribed are a part of your treatment for nausea and vomiting. Your symptoms should subside in about 2 weeks.
Following this advice may help reduce nausea-have adequate sleep, drink plenty of water to avoid
dehydration, eat frequent small meals, avoid food with strong odors. If you have been taking iron tablets, discontinue and resume them in 2 weeks, as iron tablets can induce nausea. Have protein rich food like nuts in between your meals. Drinking cold beverages reduces the
metallic taste in the mouth. Indulge in activities that elevate your mood.
During pregnancy, it is normal for the blood
glucose levels to be on the lower side due to
hemodilution. In your case, the sugar levels are in the normal range.Blood Pressure of 90/60 is considered to be normal in pregnancy, as a lot of factors cause the BP to decrease during pregnancy. To prevent excessively low BP, avoid dehydration, laydown on your side rather than on the back.
I hope this information helped you. I wish you good health.
