Pregnant, Taking Vitamin Tablet, Have Morning Sickness. Could These Be Hunger Pains?
I am currently pregnant with my second child. I have had some pains that come and go my usual day I get up at 5:45 and then I am to college by 8:00a.m. I take my vitimans areound seven in the morning and I have the typical morning sickness . I have many mornign classes and I typically dont get time to eat untill around 9 or 10 and then once I eat my pains go away and dont come back. I have had no bleeding at all. Could these be hunger pains?
The main problem I am seeing is that you are not eating as frequently as is required. Just vitamins are not able to sustain you till 9 a.m. Hypoglycemia (less sugar in the blood) is adding to your morning sickness. You must eat something when you wake up. I understand that it is not possible to eat something really substantial that early in the morning, but a glucose biscuit will help to combat the morning sickness. Please eat every 2-2.5 hours. Small meals will make you feel better and fitter, and in turn will not cause any discomfort to your baby.
You haven't mentioned how many weeks into the pregnancy you are. So I am thinking reading about your morning sickness that you would be in your first trimester. Drink a lot of fluids, eat fresh fruits and veggies and refrain from strenous exercises and you'll be fine. Homeopathic medicine also helps you to combat your symptoms and get past the initial discomfort.
In case you come across any vaginal discharge or bleeding please consult your obstetrician.
All the best!
