Pregnant With Severe Projectile Vomiting. Is This Normal?

Hi my name is Monique. I am 24 weeks and 4 days pregnant. i am 18 years old and I have been in pretty good health my entire life but this pregnancy has made me extremely uneasy and sick feeling . At the beginning of my pregnancy I used to get extremely sick but eventually it all wnet away and I was fine. Just a while ago I ate an apple and immediately the contents of my dinner which I had hours ago along with my apple came up. But not just came up.... it was projectile. Is that normal or should I be worried about anything?

Hello Ms. Monique,
Your symptoms suggest that you have probably had an attack of indigestion and gastritis. If it recurs, you should see your doctor and exclude other causes. Excessive morning sickness is observed in case of twin pregnancy and molar pregnancy, but, these have nothing to do with your symptoms. Meanwhile, take some easily digestible and soft diet with plenty of fluids. Digestive tablets may also be helpful. Wish you good health.
