Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
As your pulse is very low, you are feeling weak. You must immediately go to see a cardiologist and need to be evaluated to rule out
bradycardia due to cardiac origin. Your pulse is low most probably due to
Acebutolol, but there could be any other associated cause also. You must be r investigated for ECG,
holter monitor, Echo, TSH test etc. If your doctor rule out
arrythmia or other heart related disease, you should be advise to stop Acebutolol, and you will see within 24 hours, improvement in your bradycardia. If it is due to
Hypothyroidism, Thyroid replacement medicines will immediately rise your pulse.
usually Aspirin is not a good combination with Acebutolol, and Ramipril both. Aspirin actually negate the effect of Ramipril, and acebutolol both. This could be the cause of
uncontrolled hypertension. Ramipril is also cardio-protective and anti-platelet, so I would suggest that your Doctor should review the real necessity of Aspirin. And if needed it should be timed properly with other medicines.
Your Doctor should also check your electrolytes, specially Potassium levels. High level of potassium can cause weakness.
There are many other anti-hypertensive drugs available. We have to choose the best one evaluating for an individual , after analyzing other investigations, risk factors. It includes also your
cholesterol levels, blood sugar levels, kidney functions etc.
