Prescribed Alpecin, Sera, Grocapix, Fefolz For Hair Loss. Burning Sensation In Scalp, Dryness. What To Do?

Hello doctor, i am 22 years old (female) and I am suffering from hair loss since 3 years. So, i recently consulted a dermatologist and he prescribed me with Alpecin caffeine hair shampoo,
Q-SERA 1ml a day( this didn't work for me at all)
GROCAPIX (ALEMBIE) 1ml a day,
ASTYMIN-M-FORTE for 6 months 1 tablet per day
FEFOLZ for 6 months 1 tablet per day
I have started using these medicines and when i applied Q-sera to the scalp, i had burning sensation as if my scalp was radiating heat and my hair became completely dry, so the next day i ringed up my doctor and he told me to use NEUTRIDERM anti hairloss lotion. It was very expensive still i purchased and i used it today for the first time.i read some reviews about it where few of them who have used it wrote that there is no content in neutriderm lotion and hence no result. what should i do?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
The treatment given to you correct to some extent.
If it causes irritation to you, it should be stopped.
The important point is what is the cause of hair fall.
ask your doctor to find out the cause first.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

Hi,

Welcome to health care magic. Thanks for writing.

Hair loss is a common problem now days.It has associated with many causes and sometimes finding out a cause is rather important which will guide further treatment.Common causes include iron deficiency, thyroid problems etc.I advise you to get your blood tested for these things.

Now coming to your treatment parts, lotions you are applying contain hair rich serums and more or less they are same. You have developed allergic reaction to Q sera lotion ,so stop using it and apply a mild steroidal lotion like dosetil over scalp. You can continue with other medications.

I hope this can solve your problem.Take care.
