Prescribed Augmentin. Feeling Nauseated. Normal?

yes, the dr. prescribed me 875 mg of augmentin, but I was taking the amoxicillin, I suppose this is the generic of that. I started on Fri, 1 dose at night and 2 per day after that until tues night. This was the last dose I took. I started immediately feeling nauseated with first dose, it gets worse with meals. I am still feeling nauseated and it has been 4 days since last dose, today being 5. Is this normal?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. FORUM.
Augmentin 875 mg contains amoxycillin 875 mg +clavulanic acid 125 mg.
Clavulanic acid facilitates the absorption of amoxycillin and haence increase its action.
If amoxycillin taken alone it may produces ,
Diarrhea,
itching,
nausea/vomiting,
wheezing.
So be careful next time as self medication without doctor prescription is very dangerous for health.
Now have taken , so forget about this.
