I have red circular dry itchy patches only 6 but two little ones appearing on my lower arm now, i was wondering if you think it could be anything serious and if you think it will spread?
Hi, Welcome and thanks for posting your query to HCM.
It appears from your query that you are having fungal infection of the skin which is spreading. It is quite common in this hot weather to find fungal infection and the further spread of infection to nearby o other parts. The two smaller one are the part of same spreading fungal infection. Your doctor has rightly prescribed you the anti-fungal cream/gel. It is applied two times in thin layer over the affected areas. The things will be alright in next 7-14 days. To prevent the further spread maintain good hygiene by taking two times bath, wearing cotton clothes and change of clothes two times. You can also use nay good medicated antiperspirant powder. Stay away from hot and humid climate. Hope these informations will help.
