Prescribed Erythromycin For Burning, Itching, Swollen Lips. What To Do Till Medicine Is Available?

I have burning, itching swollen lips (outer edges mainly)-- today, I was prescribed erythromycin ointment 2% due to suspicions of atopic dematitis and a possible bacterial infection. However, none of the pharmacies in town carry this medicine and I have to wait until tomorrow night to get it. Is there something else I can do now to help the situation (e.g., some type of compress, neosporin, hydrocortisone cream, etc?) until I can get my prescription?

hello,
Care for your lips. Symptoms may be alleviated by applying the following remedies to your lips:
Natural lip balms
Cold compress with vinegar and water (for 30 minutes)
Hydrocortisone cream
Lactic acid lotion
Eliminate toxins and eat healthy. The condition can be diet induced so it is important to reduce your intake of processed foods and preservatives. This can be done by:
Eating organic fruits and vegetables
Taking probiotics and digestive enzymes
Find an all natural cleansing program to help rid your liver and kidneys of toxins
Seek medical attention to rule out other conditions. Exfoliative cheilitis can be linked to a predisposing or associated condition such as a vitamin deficiency, immunosuppression, or your body’s inability to efficiently process toxins. Therefore, if minimizing toxin exposure and maintaining a healthy diet do not reduce the symptoms.
thankyou.
