Prescribed Levoflox, Tryptomer, Mantair-Lc For Pain In Testicle, Vomiting Ever Since. Is This A Side Effect?

Hi,

I have mild pain in my right testicles. I went the urologist and he prescribed me with below medicine.
1.zanocin 500mg
2.Tolpa D -- asked me to take only when there is a severe pain.

I took this medication and for 4days but i had heavy coughf. Hence stopped taking this medication thinking that the above medicine caused the coughf.

Still there was amild pain only in right testicle.

Two days before i went to the same doctor and he examined me and prescribed me with below medicines,

1.LEVOFLOX 500mg --> 10days
2.Tryptomer 10mg --> 15days
3.Mantair-Lc --> 5days

Today early in the morning (2.30 AM), i got vomiting feeling and woke up from the bed and vomited.
After vomiting i took a glass of water and went to bed. Then again i got vomiting feeling after 1hr then, i vomited the water also.

After taking the above mentioned medicine the pain in the testicles reduced but not completely.

Kindly let me know, the vomiting feeling is because of the side effects of the tablets.

can i continue the course of the medication they prescribed.?

Thanks,

Welcome to HCM.
Vomiting is due to development of drug induced gastritis.
Continue this treatment,but take it with milk or with some simple food.
Avoid spicy,oily food up to this medications.
You have to take rebeprazole or pentoprazole to subside gastritis.
Mouth dissolving ondensetrone will be helpful to subside the vomiting.
Lactic acid bacillus is advisable to protect the gut flora.
Drink more water and other liquids.
Keep in touch with your doctor.
